Super Trowel Competition Terms and Conditions:

1. Eligibility: All competitors must be members of the Bricklayers Social Club (BSC) and meet the requirements for membership as set out by the club. These requirements include having completed a minimum of two years as a qualified bricklayer or stonemason, being at least 21 years of age, and actively practicing in the field.

2. Entry Fee: The entry fee for the Super Trowel competition is £300 per contestant, which is non-refundable if the contestant decides to withdraw or fails to show up to the event.

3. Club Rules: All competitors must abide by the rules and regulations of the Bricklayers Social Club, as well as any additional rules and regulations specific to the Super Trowel competition. These rules include respecting one another's work, maintaining a high level of professionalism, attending at least one BSC event per year to maintain active membership, conducting oneself in a respectful and ethical manner, and complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the bricklaying and stonemasonry industry.

4. Liability: All competitors must provide proof of liability insurance and a valid license to practice bricklaying or stonemasonry in their respective jurisdiction. The Bricklayers Social Club is not liable for any injury or damage that may occur during the competition.

5. Judging: The Super Trowel competition will be judged by a panel of experienced bricklayers and stonemasons, whose decisions will be final. The criteria for judging will be based on speed, accuracy, and quality of work.

6. Prize Fund: Part of the entrance fee will contribute to the final prize fund, which will be awarded to the top-performing contestants. The exact amount of the prize fund will be determined based on the number of contestants and the total amount of entry fees received.

7. Use of Image and Likeness: By participating in the Super Trowel competition, contestants grant the Bricklayers Social Club the right to use their name, likeness, and image for promotional purposes related to the competition.

8. Changes and Cancellations: The Bricklayers Social Club reserves the right to make changes to the Super Trowel competition rules, schedule, or location as necessary. In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, the entry fee will be refunded to all contestants.

 

By submitting the entry form and paying the entry fee, contestants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the rules and regulations of the Bricklayers Social Club. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disqualification from the competition and termination of membership in the Bricklayers Social Club.
